If you love diving like we do, where better to start your holidays at Aliwal Shoal – one of Africa’s most biologically diverse dive sites, and conceivably one of the best places in the world for cage less shark experiences. During the year, the reef is also filled with loads of marine life, from colourful tropical fish, turtles cruising around and pods of bottlenose dolphins. Umkomaas boasts a great various of shark species which of course means that our very famous seasonal visitors, the Tiger shark, Ragged tooth sharks and Blacktip sharks will come to show their faces.
